Beatrix Potter

Nació el 28 de julio de 1866 en Kensington, (Londres). Fue una escritora, ilustradora y fabulista de literatura infantil. Su personaje más famoso es Peter Rabbit. Potter escribió 23 libros. Fueron publicados en pequeño formato, fácil de manejar y leer por los niños. En sus últimos años se dedicó a una granja de ovejas.
Con 47 años, Beatrix Potter se casó con su abogado, William Heelis. Murió en Sawrey, (Lancashire) el 22 de diciembre de 1943.

She was born on July 28, 1866 in Kensington, (London). She was a writer, illustrator and fabulist of children's literature. His most famous character is Peter Rabbit. Potter wrote 23 books. They were published in small format, easy to handle and read by children. In his last years it was dedicated to a farm of sheep.
At age 47, Beatrix Potter married her lawyer, William Heelis. He died in Sawrey, (Lancashire) on 22 December 1943.
